Growing Through Books

A student may live a hundred lives from reading and a person who doesn't will only have one life.

Book Reviews

Like many on this planet, I have come to adopt and implement the practice of reading. From my habit of reading, I wanted to document the books I read throughout my life and the moments, thoughts, and wisdom I gained from reading them. By doing so, I look to take a picture with a book that I finish with an exciting background wherever I find myself in the world. This project started when I was gifted the book "The Business Of The 21st Century" by Robert Kiyosaki by my mentor Desmond Howard and filmed my thoughts on the book. I've then developed to read books with excitement and intention to learn and continue to expand my previous conception of what I thought of the world. I hope that we continue to have freedom of thought and share in books to help with the growth of every human being who chooses to pick up a book (or listen) and take action on what they read. I aim to share the books I have read in that it can lead others to see and decide to read that book and become better human beings.

My Book List

The following books are all I have taken the time to read, and I have lessons and takeaways from every book I have read. I share this list in hopes that it brings value to anyone seeking a book at their given point in life where maybe they need to hear words that can rewrite their direction in where they go in their life. I also want to share this list to share with others the value in knowledge and perspective I have gained from reading these books. I also compiled this list to keep track of the books I have read throughout my life and remind myself of what I decide to put into my head. I believe in taking ownership of everything in your life. No matter the situations I experience in my life, I will never make excuses or say I'm not where I want to be because I didn't do everything possible, especially thinking that just because I read books of a particular genre, I will optimally become what I read without taking action and being disciplined—doing my utmost best to become and do positive activities and training every day.

Notes - From books 1-49, I have blog posts on some of my thoughts to review what stood out to me while reading these books. Books 50 and onwards are books I have read without including a blog post of my review. I genuinely state that I have read or listened to every book I have listed. May you go forth in learning in your life from learning and hearing from others.
