Very grateful to have had the opportunity to sit down with Joey Williams and discuss numerous subject matters while being genuine and authentic. It was fun to chat about sports and see it from a human perspective rather than a fan perspective to lead to more profound insight into the aspects that present themselves in today's culture, more species in the sports culture of football and wrestling that we touched on. And Joey is a student of history, so this led to us having a discussion on aspects of society along with him sharing two Malcolm X quotes. The quote Joey was sharing on Malcolm X and patriotism, "You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or who says it." the other quote Joey mentioned was "If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." Joey, keep living a life of curiosity and sending time activities that burn the light in your soul! Let's keep getting after it!
