In Orlando, Florida🇺🇸 with Karen Mims having a conversation.

I know Karen Mims from seeing her all the time over the numerous times I would spend my nights working out of Whole Foods in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Finally, one evening when I was walking home, I came across Karen as she was waiting outside an Embassy Suite hotel close to where I live. We introduced ourselves and talked about how we see each other all the time at whole foods and wonder what each other's stories are. She was kind enough to invite me to her hotel room to film a conversation for her to share her story and get to know each other. Karen told me that she is originally from the Detroit area of Michigan and then moved to Washington D.C before moving and living in Altamonte Springs for over a year. She intends to start a local grocery store that provides only non-GMO and organic food to serve her community. I'm so grateful that Karen was able to connect in this spontaneous way and for her to share her time and space for us to have a genuine and authentic conversation.
