In Mindelo, Cape Verde🇨🇻 having a conversation with Chris Lees🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

During my time venturing into the port of Mindelo, Cape Verde, I ran into the lead member of the musical trio on the Seabourn Quest for performing music Chris Lees. Chris is from the United Kingdom and spent over a decade working and traveling on cruise ships as a musician and also owns an agency that helps rescue musical talent to work on cruises. It was a pleasure to sit down and do the best we could with the wifi we had to take part in a 40-minute podcast. It was a pleasure to have Chris briefly highlight areas of his life, especially how he feels that he has grown from his time on the Seabourn Quest and learning more about himself. I enjoyed his quote from Winston Churchill on courage, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." Chris is leaving shortly as his cruise contract is much shorter than I am doing for nine months, and I hope to see him again, whether on the high seas or somewhere else on this beautiful planet.
