Six Word Story - Sharing In Memories And Life Moments
I have known Lauren while at the Center of Recovery and Exercise (CORE) in Altamonte Springs, Florida. As one of her trainers, while training at CORE, Lauren is massively in astrology and has assured my astrology report numerous times. He is also the first person to introduce me to the Game of Thrones storyline. Wesley is Laura's trusted companion, a four-year-old havanese and her service animal. He is the number one cuddle buddy.
Laura is an individual that has had a tremendous impact on my life after knowing her since last December. She carries her life and lives her life by never losing her personality and sense of humor. Always taking her day with knowing why she is doing the activist she is. Laura is a quadriplegic who sustained a spinal cord injury when she was 19. What impresses me the most about her is her love, humor, and desire to learn continuously, which helps with her continually living in her current physical circumstances. There are many times Laura will do 3 hours of physical training daily to help with her recovery and fitness. Laura introduced me to numerous spiritual practices and deep talks during our training sessions and hanging out at her home in Altamonte Springs, Florida. I am highly grateful for her and her mom (Janis) always welcoming me over and their hospitality with warm meals, laughing sessions, movie nights, and sharing genuine moments. They allowed me to stay with them for 4 days when Hurricane Irma hit Florida in September.
We filmed this conversation a day before I left Orlando to make my way to England to start my training to become a personal trainer on a cruise ship. Before leaving, Laura gifted me with one of my most prized possessions, a goodbye card I will always have in my life. I am so grateful to have met, trained, hung out, and been genuine friends with Laura during my time in Orlando, and I will always be rooting for her in life and her endeavors. She will be somebody I will carry her spirit and memories wherever I go and do in life. Laura, thank you for impacting my life and helping me understand freedom, gratitude, helping others, taking care of yourself, giving value, and loving others. Keep constantly training your thoughts and brain to do your best to respond to empowering meaning for all the situations you face in life. Hoorah and a heartfelt thank you!
